To keep your apparel looking great and lasting longer, follow the care instructions below. These guidelines apply to most shirts, hoodies, and hats sold by The Old South Supply Co.
T-Shirts
Washing
- Turn shirt inside out before washing
- Machine wash cold
- Use mild detergent
- Wash with like colors
- Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals
Drying
- Tumble dry low
- For best results, hang dry
- Avoid high heat to prevent shrinking
Ironing
- If needed, iron inside out
- Do not iron directly over printed designs
Hoodies
Washing
- Turn hoodie inside out
- Machine wash cold
- Use gentle cycle
- Wash with similar colors
- Avoid fabric softener (can affect print)
Drying
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- High heat may cause shrinking
Extra Note
Hoodies may feel slightly snug after first wash — this is normal and usually relaxes after wearing.
Hats
Washing
- Spot clean only
- Use mild soap and cold water
- Avoid submerging in water
- Reshape and air dry
Drying
- Air dry only
- Do NOT put hats in the dryer
Tips for Longer-Lasting Apparel
- Wash inside out every time
- Avoid washing with heavy items (jeans, towels)
- Never use high heat drying
- Avoid ironing over prints
- Hang dry whenever possible
